Notice of Passing of Development Charges By-law

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Township of South-West Oxford passed Development Charges By-law 55-2019 on the 18th day of June, 2019 under subsection 2(1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O. 1997 c.27.

The new development charges imposed under the by-law are required to pay for costs related to the need for increased municipal services arising from development and growth within the Township. The development charges apply to all lands within the municipal boundaries of the Township of South-West Oxford.

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board under Section 14 of the Act, in respect of the development charges by-law by filing with the Clerk of The Township of South-West Oxford, not later than Monday, July 29th, 2019, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection. A copy of the complete Development Charges By-law is available at the Municipal Office at 312915 Dereham Line, Mt. Elgin and on the Township’s website
